Ce2 Workshop 2019


(Ce)2 workshop is a joint initiative of CenEA and CeMMAP. The sixth edition will take place in Warsaw on 1-2 July 2019.






A Poster Session will be organised as an integral part of this year's Workshop in addition to the regular presentations.


The 2019 edition of the workshop will cover topics in microeconomic theory and applications, in particular papers are invited in the following fields:


Microeconomic applications:

Microeconomic theory:
- Economics of education, skills, and training - Games: theory and experiments
- Trade, technology and labor markets - Information economics
- Identification challenges in applied microeconomics - Communication and networks
- Empirical analyses in economic history - Voting and mechanism design

Topics listed above will be given priority and the total number of posters will not exceed 10. The authors of posters will have ample opportunity to discuss their research with other workshop participants. They will be expected to be present during both days of the workshop.



There is no conference fee but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Authors will also prepare and print their own posters, size A1 maximum. Online submission of extended abstracts describing the research via ce2@cenea.org.pl closes on 31 May 2019. Notifications are expected by 7 June 2019.



In 2012 CenEA initiated the Keynote Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz which concludes the Workshop and is an opening event of the WIEM Conference.

The 2019 lecture will be given by prof. Jörn-Steffen Pischke (London School of Economics and Centre for Economic Performance).
