[Call for papers for WIEM - 2012]
The Warsaw International Economic Meeting (WIEM) is an annual conference covering all areas of economic theory and applied economics.
The first edition of the conference took place in 2006. It is traditionally organised on the first weekend of July. The conference language is English.
The 2012 edition of the conference (July 6th-8th) will be co-organised by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw and the National Bank of Poland with CenEA as a partner institution.
With this year's conference CenEA initiates the "Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz".
We are very proud to announce that the inaugural lecture of the Series will be given by prof. Richard Blundell (University College London and Institute for Fiscal Studies).

From the 2011 edition of the conference CenEA has taken responsibility for the organisation of conference keynote lectures.
The 2011 keynote address was given by prof. Costas Meghir (Yale University/University College London).
